CHANDRA KISHOR MANI PANDEY is a Post Doctoral Fellow (Indian Council of Social Science Research, Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi) at Malaviya Centre for Peace Research and his research topic is “Human Security and Drinking Water: A Case Study of Ballia District”. His current work is focused on water conservation, water level depletion and water pollution issues with respect to human security. He has done his Ph.D. on the topic “Indian Peaceful Nuclear Energy and International Perspective” in 2011 from Department of Political Science , Faculty of Social Sciences , Banaras Hindu University and he is Post Graduate and Graduate from Purvanchal University Jaunpur. He has been awarded UGC Research Fellowship from 2006-2010. He has also served as Research Assistant at Malaviya Centre for Peace Research for the period of January 2012 to July 2013. His research experience includes an European Union Project entitled “Cultures of Governance and Conflict Resolution in India and Europe” He has participated and presented research papers in many seminars, conferences, workshops and has many paper published in reputed journals.
JYOTI GUPTA is a UGC Post Doctoral Fellow at Malaviya Centre for Peace Research and her research topic is “Ground Reality of Right to Education in Varanasi District”. Her current work is focused on implementation of Right to Education and its impact on society. She has done her Ph.D. on the topic “World View of Gandhi, Vinoba and J.P. on International Relations” in 2010 from Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences , Banaras Hindu University and she is Post Graduate and Graduate also from Banaras Hindu University. She has been awarded UGC Research Fellowship from 2006-2010. She has participated and presented in many seminars, conferences, workshops and has many paper published in reputed journals.
Nivedita Mishra is a Post-Doctoral Fellow(UGC) at Malaviya Centre for Peace Research, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and my research topic is” Left Wing Extremism is a Threat to India’s Internal Security: A Comperative study of two Districts of Jharkhand i.s Seraikela kharsawan and West Singhbhum.” She has done her Graduation & Post Graduation from University of Lucknow. Ph.D from University of Lucknow in 2008 and topic of research’ Nuclear policy of India.” she has qualified UGC NET/JRF in 2007. She has taught in many reputed colleges and has published many research papers in reputed journals.
Rachana Narayan is Ph. D. in Political Science at Banaras Hindu University and is currently working as Post Doctoral Fellow at Malaviya Centre for Peace Research BHU. She obtained her masters and bachelors degree from Banaras Hindu University. She has been also worked as Project Fellow in UGC Major Research Project on Refugees and Women in Peace Processes. She has also completed a course on “The Transforming Civil Conflict” from The European Network University, Amsterdam and the Centre for Conflict Resolution, Department of Peace Studies, University of Bradford.
